Ceremony is an important part of our life so the consciousness,
tenderness and thoughtfulness you put into your wedding ceremony
will be an important step on the path through life together. To
honor and respect this step the ceremony should be meaningful
for the couple and what they value about each other, their
relationship and life in general. The ceremony should be done
with elements that are symbols for your friendship, love and
common goals.
The beauty and power of nature aligned with the honoring of the
elements that surround us, inspire us and give life; the ocean,
the wind, the earth and the sun, moon and stars form the ideal
background and setting for such a special experience.
Each ceremony is crafted together honoring the ideas and wishes
of the couple and will be a unique event. We encourage you to
write your own vows and we welcome quotes and poems that you
would like to include as well as readings by family members and
friends to make the ceremony even more personal. All the
ceremonies listed below are spiritual ceremonies to celebrate
your love. They do not replace a legal marriage. Sundreamers can
arrange a legal marriage here in Mexico, please inquire. Ceremonies can
be celebrated in English, German or Spanish.
Union through the Four Elements
The couple fills a bottle with 4 different colors
of sand while invoking the virtues of marriage
into the relationship. The colors symbolize the
four elements; Red for Fire, Blue for Water,
Green for Earth and White for Air.

Water Union Ceremony
The salt water of the ocean has been used for
centuries to purify and cleanse. In this
ceremony, symbolizing a fresh life together, the
couple will be purified by the celebrant by
pouring ocean water and flower petals over their
palms before they exchange the vows and the
rings.

Honoring the Four Directions
The conch shell has a deep beautiful sound and is still
used by the Mayans in all of their important ceremonies
and celebrations to invoke the energies of the four
directions; North, South, East, West. We ask permission
and receive all the abundance and blessings of the
Universe to guide our future.

Ring Blessing by Family and Friends
The wedding rings are the visible symbol for
your Union. We place the rings in a shell and
pass them to your family members and friends.
Each person will bless them with their best
wishes for your future together.

Flower Offering to the Ocean
To honor the past, to give thanks for the
present and to invoke love, happiness and
abundance for the future, at the end of ceremony
we give an offering of flowers to the ocean. The
ceremony can be performed by only the couple or
with all family members and friends.

Same Sex Commitment Ceremony
Sundreamers honors and welcomes same sex commitment
ceremonies. We will assist you to find a
meaningful ceremony that honors your commitment to each
