The consciousness,
tenderness and thoughtfulness you put into your wedding ceremony
will be an important step on the path through life together. To
honor and respect this step the ceremony should be meaningful
for the couple and what they value about each other , their
relation and life in general. The ceremony should be done
with elements who are symbols for your friendship, love and
common goals.
The beauty and power of nature aligned with the honoring of the
elements that surround us , inspire us and give life, like the
ocean, the wind , the earth and the sun, moon and stars form the
ideal background and setting for such a special experience.
The text and symbolic action of the ceremony are tailored to the
couple needs, values and likes.
Isla Mujeres in the Mexican Caribbean, historically been used by
the Mayans for centuries as an island to celebrate womanhood,
fertility and creativity, offers through its strong beautiful
nature and it's tradition the ideal ambiance for such a wedding
ceremony. |
MEANING OF THE
CEREMONY
To create a personal ceremony I will be e-mailing you about the
things that you value about each other, in your relationship and
in life in general, after this I will write the text and include
the elements traditional or untraditional that you pick, like
VOWS, RING EXCHANGE, just to name some of the traditional
elements.
As new symbols of UNION I offer for example the following:
FLOWER CEREMONY
The both of you arrange a flower bouquet together by placing
flowers into a vase in the center of the table verbally saying
what the flower represents as an element you would like to evoke
into you relationship, as LOVE, PASSION; UNDERSTANDING, LOYALTY,
HONESTY, TRUST
SYMBOL OF ALCHEMY
The two of you both mix two juices together to create a unique
blend, which is changing the color while it mixes, as a symbol
of unity. The two of you together becomes something unique not
just the sum of both.
FOUR ELEMENTS:
We honor the four elements by using symbols for water, fire,
earth and wind and incorporating them into the ceremony to align
the life of the couple with the energies and qualities of the
elements.
